Assyrian levies participated in the ANZAC March on the 25th April 2008, this is the second time that our diggers marched, on ANZAC Day (Melbourne, Australia), ANZAC Day is very moving and emotional time for all, as you parade down the street and you hear the clapping and cheering for our men from Australians and Assyrians, you can sense an aura and the proud ness that your nation (Assyria) has made. ANZAC Day should be hold dearly in our hearts, for our fallen men and honor the ones that are with us at the same time show the Australian the Australians that we have long standing history with them. Assyrian Levies Association Melbourne in conjunction with Victorian Assyrian community inc. would like to thank all that participated and are proud to be involved on such memorable day.
